Job Description
- Job Title: Equipment Mechanic
- Job Description
- This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of material handling equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, utility vehicles, and floor care machines. You perform preventative maintenance and repair work on customer fleets directly at their locations, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Responsibilities
- + Diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, utility vehicles, and floor care equipment.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on customer fleets to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
+ Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
+ Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, including air lines, valves, and actuators.
+ Use blueprints and schematics to identify components, understand system layouts, and guide repair work.
+ Work safely in shop and field environments, following all applicable procedures and guidelines.
- Essential Skills
- + At least 2 years of mechanic experience working with equipment or vehicles. + Working knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. + Experience with minor electrical troubleshooting on equipment. + Mechanical aptitude with experience in repair and maintenance. + Automotive technician experience preferred
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Experience servicing material handling equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts. + Experience working with utility vehicles and floor care equipment.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 401K matchHealth, Dental, Vision BenefitsPTO
