Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Trailer Mechanic & Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trailers. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs will be essential in providing top-notch service for a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trailers, including brake systems, suspensions, axles, floor repair, air brake components, and roof repair. Conduct welding and fabrication work using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding to repair or modify trailers and equipment as needed. Accurately diagnose electrical systems, lighting, sensors, and other electronic components. Maintain and repair trailers to ensure operational readiness. Use power tools and hand tools efficiently for assembly, disassembly, repairs, and fabrication projects while adhering to safety standards. Document all repairs performed with detailed reports; communicate effectively with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules.
