Job Summary:
The Foreman position at PAF Construction, LLC is responsible for the skilled operation of various types of heavy machinery to facilitate the proper movement of materials and ensure the successful completion of excavation projects. This role requires a high level of diligence and safety awareness, as well as the ability to read and interpret project plans to ensure the correct operation of equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong atention to detail, a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, and the ability to suggest improvements to workflow and productivity.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead a working crew by coordinating daily tasks, providing hands-on supervision, and ensuring overall production requirements are achieved as set forth by project specifications and management directives. 2. Monitor and document job progress by maintaining accurate daily logs and reporting updates to senior management 3. Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and skid loaders. 4. Maneuver motorized heavy equipment to ensure accurate removal and placement of materials. 5. Load and offload rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment as necessary. 6. Adhere to all safety codes and regulations at all times. 7. Communicate with coworkers and management to ensure clear understanding of project specifications and requirements. 8. Promptly report any injuries or accidents in accordance with company safety policies. 9. Maintain a clean and organized work site at the end of each shift. 10. Provide suggestions for improving workflow and enhancing efficiency. 11. Perform minor repair work on equipment as needed. 12. Conduct inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure it is in proper working order. 13. Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisory staff.

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
