In this vital role, you will oversee the inspection, troubleshooting, and servicing of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive electrical diagnostics on heavy equipment to identify faults and determine repair strategies. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and guide repairs. Perform mechanical inspections and repairs on diverse machinery, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for accountability and future reference. Oversee the scheduling of routine maintenance, repairs, and parts procurement within maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) protocols. Collaborate with technicians and operators to ensure all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably. Requirements Proven experience with heavy equipment mechanics, including troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical components. Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics techniques and interpreting schematics or technical drawings. Familiarity with MRO practices to manage maintenance schedules effectively. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in repairing diverse machinery types. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
