About this Role - Field Mechanic Trainee We are looking for a talented Field Mechanic Trainee who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for working under the supervision of experienced mechanics to learn how to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment utilized in the industry. What You'll Do Assist with routine maintenance tasks on equipment Learn to diagnose and inspect equipment while performing basic repairs under guidance from experienced mechanic Help with work setup and cleanup Assist with vehicle preventative maintenance Attend training sessions and actively participate in learning activities Perform other duties assigned by the experienced mechanics or regional lead Perform tasks independently What You'll Bring Basic knowledge diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment Basic understanding of DOT Regulations Basic understanding of iPhones, iPads, and computers Customer service skills Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills High School graduate Entry Level position Must possess a valid class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or have the ability to obtain one Long periods of travel required What You'll Get 401(k) with company match (Traditional & Roth) Paid Holidays and PTO Medical, Dental, and Vision Flexible Spending Accounts Health Savings Account Accident Insurance Hospital Indemnity Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Lifelock Identity Theft Protection Employee Discounts Short-Term & Long-Term Disability
