Variety:

tackle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems across multiple models. What you'll do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and related material handling equipment on-site. Conduct preventive maintenance services and safety inspections to reduce downtime. Repair or replace engines, transmissions, hydraulic components, braking systems, and electrical parts. Interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documentation to guide repair strategies. Complete thorough service reports and maintain accurate records of all work. Explain equipment condition and recommended repairs to customers clearly and professionally. Operate with strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures. Must-haves Proven background as a forklift technician or mechanic. Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, electric motors, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Ability to independently diagnose mechanical and electrical faults. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations. Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting. Nice-to-haves Technical certification in heavy equipment or diesel mechanics. Hands-on experience with major forklift brands such as Toyota, Hyster, Yale, and Crown.
