HIRING RANGE
$30.36-$33.73/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining all vehicles and heavy equipment and responding to mechanical needs in the field.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Possession of and ability to maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements and demonstrated safe driving record
  • Respond to after-hours mechanical problems, per on call schedule
  • Practical knowledge of assigned Department equipment and vehicles, with ability to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose problems, and repair equipment as needed
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and/or power tools and variety of equipment in performance of duties
  • Ability to do light snow removal Ability to work alone with minimum supervision, with others in a team environment, work rapidly for long periods and on several tasks at a time, often under time pressure
