Job Description
Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic Markle, IN Up to $30 an hour - Full-time Up to $30 an hour - Full-time Smith Erectors, Inc., a Markle, Indiana, steel erector has successfully erected hundreds of buildings in the northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio and mid-Indiana regions for over 15 years. We currently have an opening for Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Position requires strict attention to detail, thoroughness, and ability to multi-task. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Work on heavy construction equipment such as cranes, forklifts, manlifts, fleet trucks, welders, etc. as directed by management. Successful candidate must have experience working on such equipment, especially diesel engines and hydraulic systems. Mechanic will have various duties as assigned by management which could include delivery of materials or equipment to jobsites. Having a CDL and the ability to drive a semi tractor is a plus. Verifiable experience is necessary. Five years or more experience is preferable for a successful candidate. Overtime is likely for this position.
