Job Description

PrideStaff has a great client in Walton KY seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic who can jon their team serving many clients throughout Northern Kentucky with their industrial electrical motor repair needs. First Shift, Mon-Fri, some times OT on Sat morn, Pay Range is $25-30 per hour! Must have previous experience! Small family owned company that offers an excellent work/life balance and benefits after 90 days of employment. Read job cards to determine job status, work authorizations/limitations, estimate, description of problems, and/or expected serviceability. Repair various kinds of electromechanical equipment. Ability to understand, perform, and retain various skill-related training and operational and safety procedures demonstrated by the supervisor. Test electromechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods (AC or DC). Visual inspection, noting any missing parts or damage. Disassemble electromechanical equipment, noting parts identification, configuration, and condition. Clean electromechanical equipment assemblies as needed using various methods and steps, including but not limited to: parts washer, steamers, caustic tanks, and glass/sand blasting etc. Measure for and note proper replacement parts with their part numbers for the office to quote the repair. Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electromechanical assemblies, including but not limited to: bearings, brushes, brush holders, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, brakes, clutches, clutch rotors, tachs, fans, and end shields. Retest reassembled electromechanical equipment for proper output and operation. Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis. Operate specialized repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed. Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear. Lift, tighten, adjust, and/or secure heavy objects to perform work duties. Keep your work area neat and clean. Assist other mechanics in skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by the supervisor.
