Job Description

Our Repair/Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining our equipment fleet and customer-based generator sets, ensuring they are in full working order. New or recent technical school graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions. Knowledge of internal combustion engines, electrical circuits, and mechanical mechanisms. Experience in repairing various types of machinery and equipment. Capability to lift heavy objects as required. Experience in repairing generators or power systems is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams. Conduct repairs, service, and preventative maintenance on generators and equipment. Perform equipment repairs and maintenance in the shop and on-site. Troubleshoot and diagnose machinery and equipment issues. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment functionality. Complete service reports and document all work. Provide technical support and resolve customer issues. Adhere to an after-hours on-call schedule once fully trained. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations.
