Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pump/Turbine Mechanic to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and repairing rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and other machinery critical to industrial operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to precision and quality.
Responsibilities:
Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating equipment, adhering to company standards and procedures. Diagnose mechanical issues, conduct troubleshooting, and recommend effective solutions. Conduct precision alignment of equipment using appropriate tools and techniques. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure repairs meet client specifications and timelines. Use technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to execute maintenance and repair tasks accurately. Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Document work performed, including detailed reports on findings, repairs, and recommendations. Stay current with industry advancements and best practices for rotating equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of hands-on experience in rotating equipment maintenance and repair. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical components. Knowledge of precision alignment techniques (e.g., laser alignment) and vibration analysis is a plus. Familiarity with industrial tools, machinery, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or a related field are a plus. Why Join Us?
