In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a wide range of construction, industrial, and general use machinery within our yard. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment is operational, safe, and ready for use, supporting our commitment to excellence in equipment maintenance and customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery, utilize advanced diagnostics, and contribute to the smooth operation of our facility. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on construction machinery, general use equipment, and industrial tools including mini excavators, skid steers, landscape and tree equipment, tractors, and more. Load and unload equipment. Show customers proper use practices for all equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, OEM manuals, electrical diagnostics, and online tools. Operate heavy equipment such as mini excavators, skid steers, forklifts, and landscape equipment safely and efficiently during maintenance or movement tasks. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts, replace components, or perform detailed repairs on various equipment types. Maintain detailed service records including inspection reports, repair logs, and diagnostic findings to ensure compliance with safety standards. Support customer service efforts by providing technical assistance and ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards before deployment. Preferred Experience •Not Required• Strong background in construction machinery maintenance including diesel engine repair, brake repair, wheel alignment, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Familiarity with fabrication techniques and the use of schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues. Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators or cranes is highly desirable. Knowledge of OEM specifications. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs. Prior experience working with construction machinery or industrial equipment is advantageous.
