Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Equipment Operator Duties:

• Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, cranes, and loaders.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Transport materials and goods within the facility or construction site.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles.
• Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
