Job Description

Pump Mechanic Applied Industrial Technologies Jun 10, 2026 FCX is looking for an experienced repair mechanic to work on all processes related to disassembly, inspection and assembly of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps of all sizes . This is a first shift position in a clean and well-lit repair facility in Hudson, MI. Your duties will include field and shop disassembly, inspection, rebuilding and diagnostic of various types of pumps, motors and related component equipment as needed. You will specify the necessary parts and labor needed to complete the repair or service, as well as provide a written report of findings from troubleshooting. Other duties may include assembly/fabrication, minor plumbing, and testing of components, troubleshooting, removal, installation, and repairs on various customer equipment as well as a back-up in the shipping and receiving department.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical Aptitude Willingness to learn (we will train) Basic Computer Skills High School Diploma or
GED PREFERENCES
Valid forklift certification Welding experience a plus but not required Pump Repair Experience (Centrifugal, Vertical Turbine, Multi-Stage, etc.) a plus but not required Pump Mfg. Training (Flowserve, Finish Thompson, Grundfos, etc.) a plus but not required #
