At U Rent It , we've been serving West Michigan since 1949. We're looking for a dependable, motivated individual who enjoys working with their hands and wants to learn the equipment rental industry. If you're mechanically inclined—even if you don't have professional experience—we're willing to train the right person. This is a great opportunity to build valuable mechanical skills while working on a wide variety of equipment, from lawn and construction equipment to trailers, generators, concrete tools, and more. What You'll Do Assist experienced mechanics with equipment maintenance and repairs Perform inspections and routine preventative maintenance Clean, prepare, and test equipment before customer rentals Load and unload equipment safely Assist with deliveries and pickups when needed Help customers with basic equipment operation and answer questions Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe Learn troubleshooting and diagnostic skills from experienced technicians What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Mechanically inclined or eager to learn Reliable and dependable Able to work independently and with a team Good attention to detail Able to lift up to 40 lbs Valid driver's license At least 18 years old No professional mechanic experience? No problem—we're happy to train someone with the right attitude.
