SUBCONTRACTOR MEASURE TECHNICIAN

Leon's Countertops - Bloomington, Minnesota Join One of the Industry's Fastest Growing Countertop Companies Leon's Countertops is seeking experienced and professional Subcontract Measure Technicians to support our expanding residential, custom home builder and retail kitchen and Bath segments throughout the Midwest market. We are looking for detail-oriented professionals who take pride in precision, customer service, communication, and accountability. This role is critical to maintaining Leon's reputation for delivering a premium customer experience from initial measure through final installation. Position Overview The Subcontract Measure Technician is responsible for performing accurate field measurements, creating complete digital drawings/templates, documenting all required job details, and communicating professionally with homeowners, builders, designers, and Leon's staff. This is an independent subcontractor position requiring self-management, professionalism, and the ability to meet strict quality and submission deadlines. Key Responsibilities

• Perform precise field measurements for quartz, granite, marble, porcelain, and other stone countertop projects
• Create accurate digital drawings and documentation for fabrication
• Submit all completed drawings and job documentation the same day by 11:59 PM
• Verify all jobsite details including cabinetry readiness, sink/appliance specifications, overhangs, support requirements, and jobsite conditions
• Communicate proactively with Leon's office staff regarding jobsite issues, modifications, or discrepancies
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the Leon's brand positively at all times
• Utilize company-required software systems including Moraware and Job Well Done (JWD)
• Provide exceptional customer service while minimizing disruption to homeowners and builders
• Protect customer property and maintain a clean and respectful work environment
• Follow all Leon's SOPs, OSHA regulations, and safety standards Performance Standards
• Deliver highly accurate measurements and drawings
• Maintain same-day submission compliance
• Respond professionally and promptly to office and customer communications
• Reduce avoidable errors and rework
• Operate with urgency while maintaining quality standards Requirements
• Previous countertop measurement/template experience preferred
• Experience with laser measuring systems and/or digital templating software preferred
• Own all needed measuring equipment
• Construction, cabinetry, remodeling, or stone industry experience is highly valued
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation
