Hydraulic Repair Technician (Automotive & Diesel Techs Encouraged to Apply) Job Overview We are seeking a hands-on Hydraulic Repair Technician to join our team in a clean, climate-controlled shop environment. This role is ideal for automotive technicians, diesel mechanics, agricultural or industrial maintenance techs looking to transition into hydraulics. In this position, you'll perform bench-level repair and testing of hydraulic and electro-mechanical assemblies , including manifolds, proportional valves, and fluid power systems . If you enjoy tearing down components, diagnosing issues, and putting things back together the right way — this is a great fit. Key Responsibilities Repair and rebuild hydraulic and electrical assemblies , including manifolds and proportional valves Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble components to restore full functionality Follow detailed work orders, repair procedures, and technical instructions Use hand tools and power tools safely for repairs and adjustments Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues , identify root causes, and complete repairs Assist with testing and validation to ensure performance standards are met Work with fluid power systems , hydraulic components, and custom assemblies Maintain an organized and safe workstation Collaborate with team members to improve processes and solve technical challenges Follow all safety protocols for tools, equipment, and hydraulic fluid handling What We're Looking For (Core Skills) Strong mechanical aptitude (experience working on vehicles, engines, pumps, etc.) Experince in automotive repair, diesel mechanics, agriculture equipment, or industrial maintenance Experience with hydraulic systems or willingness to learn hydraulics Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (mechanical or hydraulic) Ability to read and follow work orders and step-by-step instructions Comfortable working with tools, components, and fluid systems ✅ Great fit backgrounds: Automotive Technicians

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savage, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
