Tractor Tear Down Tech

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Tractor Tear Down Tech and become a vital part of our tractor salvage process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tractor brands, utilizing your mechanical expertise and hands-on skills to tear down tractors. You will closely work with your Inventory Control Specialist to take off the necessary parts needed for our inventory. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working with heavy-duty machinery, this is the perfect role for you! Responsibilities Disassemble tractors using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized machinery such as cranes and forklifts. Follow safety procedures to ensure accurate tear down and component identification. Inspect parts for wear or damage. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards related to heavy lifting, welding, blocking the tractor and utilizing overhead crane system. Must have your own tools. The ability to clearly and concisely communicate with all team members. Experience Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, cranes, tire service equipment, and other maintenance tools required for disassembly. Prior experience in automotive repair involving vehicle maintenance is highly desirable but not mandatory. Ability to lift heavy components safely; comfortable working in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail.
