Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fiberglass Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining fiberglass components across various equipment and structures. Your expertise will ensure the integrity, safety, and longevity of our assets while supporting operational efficiency. Duties Perform thorough inspections of fiberglass structures and components to identify damage or deterioration. Utilize schematics, technical drawings, and interpretive guides to accurately assess repair needs. Conduct repairs using appropriate techniques such as patching, sanding, gel coating, and reinforcement to restore structural integrity. Use specialized tools including ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics related to fiberglass equipment. Collaborate with mechanical teams to troubleshoot issues that involve both fiberglass and mechanical systems. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, materials used, and diagnostic findings for quality assurance. Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations. Requirements Proven experience with fiberglass repair techniques in industrial or manufacturing settings. Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams effectively. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Basic understanding of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures across machinery and structures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality control. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
