Job Description

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of diesel & gasoline equipment in the field. You will travel to various job sites to make electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as excavators, loaders, trenchers, forklifts, and more. Applicants should have some experience with diesel heavy equipment repair so they can determine what parts and tools are necessary for repairs. You must be able to use a tablet to run diagnostic tests and enter job information, and you need a valid driver??s license to travel to job sites.
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance- Troubleshoot issues with diesel & gasoline engines Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs Complete shop paperwork Maintain a clean and safe work area Position Requirements Must have a valid Driver's License. OSHA 10 Safety Training preferred. First Aid / CPR Certification a plus. Must pass pre-employment screening. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, up to 100 lbs with assistance. Must be able to bend, kneel, push, pull, walk on rough terrain, and climb in and out of equipment and work areas. Must be able to work in all types of indoor/outdoor environments. Must be willing to travel and/or work overtime when required. Must supply own mechanic's toolbox and tools.
