Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri.
Our Equipment Technicianis primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing heavy machinery in the shop. This includes large and small earthmoving equipment.

Hourly Base Rate:
$24.62 - $58.30 / hour What You Will Do inThis Role:
Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, make recommendations for repairs and perform critical repairs and adjustments Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments Develop and maintain long-lasting working relationships with customers Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. Physical & Working Requirements This role involves hands-on mechanical work in a shop environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.These functions may include:
Safely and repeatedly lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds without assistance Safely lifting, carrying, and lowering components weighing up to 65 pounds without assistance Frequent pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy materials Climbing on and off equipment and working at varying heights Standing, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periods Safely operating tools and equipmentOur Ideal Candidate:
Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments Welding backround (Mig and Stick expreince) Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publicationsWhat Will Put You Ahead:
