Job Description

We are a small, family owned accessory store and vehicle repair shop looking for a skilled Mechanic. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of installed accessories, machines, engines and mechanical systems. An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions. We install wheels, tires, lift kits, nerf bars, bull bars, LED lights, etc. as well as general vehicle service and maintenance on a daily basis. We provide House of Health membership after 6 months of employment which includes: Membership perks in House of Health family: Unlimited number of in-person office visits Unlimited telehealth visits House calls available to home or place of business for a $50 additional cost per visit No need to spend any time in the waiting room Same day and next day appointments available If you think you need urgent care, then no matter what time or day, call Dr. Hannam, don't text or email. For less urgent needs, text or email is fine, and he will respond the same day Highly discounted medication Responsibilities Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability Install vehicle accessories Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc.) Keep logs of work and report on issues Keep shop area tidy Order parts for jobs when applicable Test drive vehicles to discover issues/ensure issues are resolved Shift hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00-5:00. Saturday work is offered regularly and is optional. Pay is up to $45/hr depending on experience, certifications, and inspector's permit.
