at KLS Hydraulics & Machine Works in Missoula, Montana, United States Job Description We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with experience in hydraulic systems and heavy equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems for various types of machinery.
DutiesDiagnose and repair hydraulic systems on heavy equipment, including construction, agricultural, and forestry equipment.
Operate various hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair tasks.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Perform heavy lifting as required during repair processes.
Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or field.
ExperienceStrong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diagnostics and repair.
Familiarity with hydraulic components and systems.
Experience operating heavy machinery such as forklifts is a plus.
Skills in fabrication, welding, soldering, and electrical work are advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.
