Job Description
Shop Technicians are responsible for maintaing our fleet of semi trucks, pneumatic trailers, hopper trailers, and dry vans. These duties included preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Perform shop repairs and maintenance with little or no direct supervision.
- Diagnose and evaluate problems with equipment; make repairs using established guidelines.
- Model safe work habits and always abide by all safety policies and procedures.
- Organize, clean, and maintain a safe work area.
- Attending meetings and required training as specified by the supervisor.
- Maintain tools and shop equipment in good working condition and keep clean.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor with drivers, dispatchers, managers, and colleagues.
- Facility maintenance
- Perform other assignments as requested by management.
- Use of tools or specialized equipment to complete maintenance and repairs.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
