This includes:

Diagnosing faults with computerized testing tools. Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts to ensure operational efficiency. Performing both routine and major repairs on a variety of equipment types. Collaborating with other mechanics and reporting directly to management to maintain fleet integrity. Your hands-on expertise will not only prevent downtime but will also drive our commitment to efficient recycling processes. Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical components. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. MUST have your own tools

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic preferred. Extensive experience in repairing and maintaining heavy-duty equipment. Minimum of 5 yrs. heavy equipment experience
