is hiring an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Position Summary As a Field Service Mechanic , you'll be responsible for routine and emergency repairs as well as preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment. Working primarily in the field with some time in the shop, this role demands strong diagnostic skills, mechanical expertise, and a commitment to safety and reliability. Benefits

• Paid training. Key Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance and repairs based on operator inspection reports.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on gas and diesel engines and powertrains.
• Follow manufacturer and company guidelines for inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Plan repair procedures and requisition necessary parts and materials.
• Accurately document labor, parts, and repairs using CMMS software.
• Overhaul engines and major components using technical references and best practices.
• Fabricate hydraulic systems, lifting devices, and other components as needed.
• Test equipment post-repair to confirm proper functionality. Position Requirements
• Proven experience as a field or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong diagnostic skills for gas/diesel engines and powertrains.
• Experience with hydraulic systems and fabrication.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Valid NC Driver's License required; CDL preferred (not required).

• Schedule:

  Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM + rotating Saturdays 7:00 AM-12:00 PM.
• Availability for overtime, including evenings and weekends if needed.
• Ability to lift heavy parts and tools.
• Extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling.
• Work in outdoor environments and all weather conditions.
