Job Description
Dirt Works is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team! If you take pride in your work, have a strong work ethic, and can diagnose and repair a variety of equipment, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment Perform maintenance and repairs on dump trucks and trailers Service pickup trucks and farm equipment Complete preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and brake systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work independently while communicating effectively with the team Requirements Must have your own mechanic tools Experience working on heavy equipment and diesel engines Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus, but not required) Strong work ethic with dependable attendance Ability to lift heavy parts and work in various weather conditions Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays Paid vacation Stable, year-round work Weekly pay Uniform assistance Family-oriented work environment Modern equipment and well-equipped shop If you're looking for a long-term career with a company that values hard work, integrity, and quality workmanship, we'd love to talk with you.
