Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various repair and maintenance tasks, including minor and major engine trouble shooting and repair, drivetrain repair, electrical work, brake repair, equipment repair, air brake systems, and heavy equipment operation.
Duties:
  • Toubleshooting and repair of large and small diesel engines, including engine rebuilds
  • Drivetrain component repair and replacement
  • Perform electrical repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Conduct brake repairs and replacements
  • Repair and maintain various types of equipment
  • Service air brake systems
  • Service diesel vehicles for lube, filter and oil replacement service in express lane setting.
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed
  • Handle shocks, struts, welding, and fabrication tasks
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
  • Major and minor diesel engine repair
  • Proficiency in electrical work
  • Experience in brake repair
  • Knowledge of equipment repair procedures
  • Familiarity with air brake systems
  • Ability to operate Caterpillar and other heavy equipment
  • Competence in shocks, struts maintenance
  • Oil, Lube, Filter replacement services in express lane environment
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude for general mechanic duties This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of tasks and equipment, providing valuable experience in the field.
