Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Shop Hand to join our clients team in Minot, ND The Shop Hand will play a crucial role in the assembly, testing, maintenance, and deployment of equipment, ensuring that it meets industry standards and client requirements.
Valve and Equipment Assembly:
Assemble valves, frac, and flowback equipment according to engineering specifications and company guidelines.
Pressure Testing:
Conduct pressure tests on assembled equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety. Record and chart test results accurately.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs.
Equipment Building:
Assist in the construction and modification of equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role in the oil and gas industry is preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills. Knowledge of pressure testing procedures and equipment is a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy equipment when necessary. Basic knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to safety in the workplace.
