Full-Time Cemetery Worker We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cemetery Worker to join our team full-time. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the grounds and supporting burial services with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain heavy equipment a plus, including backhoes and tractors Perform heavy lifting and manual labor in all weather conditions Assist with grave preparation and site restoration Ensure the cemetery grounds are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained Interact professionally and compassionately with the public during services and visits Be available to work some Saturday mornings as needed

Requirements:

The main focus in the cemetery is the Tower of Memories. Constructed of Indiana limestone, this centrally located tower constructed is the most outstanding piece of architecture at Memorial Cemetery Association. In this tower, there are a large number of beautiful stained glass windows, most of which have been the gifts of lot owners. At one time, it housed the Deagan Chimes, but now these chimes can be seen at the cemetery office. The tower has a small chapel on the main floor. We also erected niches for cremated remains that surround the outside of the tower. Our graveyard is secluded and well maintained to ensure a peaceful experience for every visitor. When you lay someone special to rest, you want to know that their burial ground is somewhere where you can visit for quiet, personal reflection.
