We are currently working with a company that need a Shop Technician to join their team in Omaha area. As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support, repair, and maintenance services to their customers. Your expertise and knowledge will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of their shop and delivering excellent service to their clients.

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

Utilize your extensive experience and skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a variety of equipment.

Troubleshooting:

Analyze equipment problems, identify causes, and develop effective solutions to restore functionality and minimize downtime.

Repair and Maintenance:

Perform preventive maintenance tasks, conduct thorough inspections, and complete repairs on customer equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety guidelines.

Documentation:

Accurately record and maintain detailed service and repair reports, including parts used, labor hours, and job completion status.

Customer Service:

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, providing recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the services provided.

Efficiency and Productivity:

Strive to meet or exceed established productivity and efficiency targets, maximizing billed hours and contributing to the profitability of the shop.

Training and Mentoring:

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a shop technician or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical systems

Technical Skills:

Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

Problem-Solving Abilities:
