Job Description

R. S. Audley, Inc., has an opening for an entry level Lube and Diesel Mechanic performing maintenance and repair on heavy equipment, trucks, and power tools both on-site and in the field. You will be trained by licensed diesel mechanics with the opportunity to advance in the company. Come work for New Hampshire's premier civil engineering construction company. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Repairs, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems. Completes work orders and documents maintenance history with detail and accuracy in a timely manner. Repair and preventative maintenance on power tools used on a construction site. Communicates with Maintenance Manager regarding equipment damage. Requests parts as necessary to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment. Conducts heavy equipment functionality, use, and safety tests.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Interest with the desire in examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting on the performance of all heavy equipment Must have own tools With proper training, the candidate will develope a mechanical background including work with various construction or heavy machinery, specifically repairing hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines. Basic knowledge of construction or heavy equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma Must have at least a 3 year track record working for a company with good employment ethics and references. Valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending. Must be able to work inside and outside in variable weather conditions.
