We're currently seeking a Mechanic I to support and maintain the operational readiness of our equipment and vehicles. Position Summary As a Mechanic I, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of machinery, vehicles, and equipment. You'll work closely with other team members to ensure that production runs smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with hands-on experience, strong organizational habits, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities Diagnostics & Repair:

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs on industrial equipment, heavy machinery, and company vehicles.

Preventive Maintenance:

Follow and improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Task Coordination:

Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently while minimizing impact to operations.

Inspections:

Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential mechanical failures.

Vendor Coordination:

Work with suppliers and service providers to source parts and schedule external repairs when necessary.

Recordkeeping:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history.

Safety Compliance:

Always adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, using proper PPE and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area. What You'll Need to Succeed Technical Skills Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicles and industrial equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Soft Skills Dependable and self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a commitment to safety. Physical Requirements Capable of lifting 25-100+ lbs regularly. Able to stand, walk, bend, and work in varying weather and production conditions. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical school or vocational training in mechanics is preferred. 2+ years of relevant mechanical experience (preferred). Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid driver's license (preferred).
