If so, apply today! Barrett Paving Materials is seeking a Shop Mechanic to join our team in Jamesville NY. Compensation $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Main Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on various construction equipment. Collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure all equipment is functioning properly with all safety measures in place and operational. Support the Shop Manager in ensuring that all equipment operates in full compliance with environmental regulations related to maintenance. Work with the Shop Manager to uphold the highest safety standards during all maintenance operations performed and/or observed. Execute tasks on equipment independently, without direct supervision. Diagnose and repair a range of issues associated with mobile equipment. Assist in collecting data for maintenance databases. Skills Strong coordination and communication skills. Proficient in hands-on work. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work outdoors in challenging conditions. Strong problem-solving abilities.
