EXPERIENCED

Heavy Equipment Mechanic!! This is a Great Opportunity with a long standing, locally owned company who is looking for an Equipment Mechanic. Compensation between $20 and $40 per hour depending on qualifications. Uniforms are provided. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License. Paid vacation after 1st year. 6 paid Holidays per year Work is done on site, in our heated shops. Health Insurance offered. Looking for full time or part time. Retired people welcome! Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks, including hydraulic and suspension systems. Operate heavy machinery as needed for testing and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in heavy equipment diagnostics Skilled in using hand tools and performing equipment maintenance Familiarity with transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and suspension systems Valid driver's license and ability to lift heavy equipment Experience with various machinery, including excavators and forklifts
