Job Description

Store & Haul / D&D Tank Wash
  • Bellevue, OH $65,000
  • 75,000 per year (based on experience) Full-time | On-site | Salaried | Reports to ownership About us Store & Haul is a second-generation, family-owned food-grade bulk liquid carrier operating since 1991.
Our Bellevue, OH terminal is home to D&D Tank Wash, where we clean and maintain the stainless tankers that keep food-grade freight safe and moving. We are a hands-on company built around safety, quality, accountability, and people who take ownership of their work. About the role This is a working manager role: part diesel/trailer mechanic, part facility lead, and part people manager. You will spend real time in the shop keeping trucks, trailers, pumps, and facility equipment safe and compliant. You will also lead the people and daily operations at our Bellevue terminal and tank wash. The right person is mechanically skilled enough to inspect and fix equipment, organized enough to keep the terminal running, and steady enough to lead a crew. Technical backup is available for the most complex repairs, but this is not a desk-only management job. What you will do Mechanical and DOT inspection work
  • Perform DOT annual inspections on diesel tractors and stainless steel tankers/trailers
  • Maintain and repair trucks, trailers, pumps, and related equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate repairs that keep equipment safe, compliant, and on the road
  • Keep inspection, maintenance, and repair records accurate and compliant Facility maintenance and repair
  • Maintain and repair the Bellevue terminal, shop, wash, yard, and related equipment
  • Keep the facility safe, clean, organized, and operational
  • Identify problems early and follow through until they are fixed Tank wash leadership
  • Lead the on-site tank wash technicians, including scheduling, coaching, evaluations, and discipline with support from management and HR
  • Help with hiring and training tank wash team members
  • Step in and perform tank wash technician duties when needed
  • Build a culture of teamwork, safety, accountability, and good customer service Terminal operations
  • Oversee daily wash scheduling and lot organization
  • Monitor manpower efficiency, wash workflow, and terminal performance
  • Review daily timesheets and weekly payroll for the team
  • Maintain inventory, including chemicals, gaskets, hoses, seals, wash tickets, parts, and supplies
  • Handle terminal communication during and after normal business hours
  • Support audits, process improvements, and future growth at the Bellevue site What we are looking for
  • Hands-on diesel mechanic experience with trucks and trailers
  • Experience with trailer, tanker, pump, or liquid-bulk equipment preferred
  • Qualified to perform DOT annual inspections, or able to become qualified with company support
  • Leadership or supervisory experience; you have led a crew or managed people
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable handling facility maintenance and repair
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Class A CDL is a plus
  • Dependable, organized, safety-minded, and willing to take ownership Physical demands
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
  • Climb on trailers, catwalks, and around equipment
  • Sit, stand, walk, and use hand/finger dexterity for 8-10 hours per day
  • Work in varied weather, hot environments, wet environments, confined spaces, and around strong odors
  • Use all required safety equipment and PPE Pay and benefits
