Job Description:
The ideal candidate will bring more than two years experience working on heavy equipment. The qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanic will assist in our maintenance garage located at 4229 Round Bottom Rd, Cincinnati, OH. The applicant must possess a strong work ethic and be self-motivated. Responsibilities Possess knowledge and skills necessary to work on various construction/landscaping heavy equipment from manufacturers such as CAT, Kubota, Komatsu, etc. (i.e. track hoes, back hoes, bulldozers, tumblers, skid steer, etc.) Inspect, diagnose and perform repairs on all company owned heavy equipment in garage and emergency repairs on job sites as needed Possess knowledge and skills necessary to operate hand tools and power tools per OSHA safety standards Consult equipment operating manuals, blueprints, and manufacturer contacts for diagnostic assistance Maintain accurate records on repairs performed on equipment Maintain a clean working environment Position Requirements 2+ years experience working on heavy equipment Good work history, attitude, and work ethic Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas) and be around dust, grease, general shop odors, noise, heat, etc. Must be able to lift and carry weights exceeding 50 pounds Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial/landscaping tools and equipment. General knowledge of
CAT ET SIS
