Job Description
Position Summary Responsible for the quality and efficiency of inspection, repair and testing of lifting devices and other related equipment. Job Duties 1. Inspect, diagnose and repair lifting and rigging devices 2. Provide time estimates for repairs 3. Complete service training activities and attend factory sponsored training classes 4. Ensure the efficient use of materials and keeping company equipment in good working order 5. Complete reports / estimates / labor sheets daily 6. Follow established safety protocol's, report any shop equipment in improper working condition and immediately report safety incidents 7. Safeguard company assets and customer data 8. Complete required training assigned through the company training portal 9. Perform other duties as assigned Education A high school diploma or GED preferred; trade school or military experience a plus Experience & Skills Familiarity with chain and lever hoists preferred Requires solid written and verbal communication skills Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Must be able to lift and/or pull minimum of 50 lbs Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify At Mazzella, we're more than just a company
