This day-shift role offers the chance to work independently, travel throughout the Cincinnati/Dayton area (home every night and weekend), and take ownership of keeping essential heavy equipment running at peak performance. A company vehicle is provided for all work-related travel. About theOpportunity:
As a Maintenance/Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you'll support multiple sites, troubleshoot a wide range of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and perform the repairs and preventive maintenance that keep operations moving. You'll work with equipment such as cranes, balers, loaders, and material handlers—often leading tear-downs, rebuilds, and complex hydraulic work.What You'll Do:
Travel to various locations during the day to diagnose and repair heavy equipment Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life Work hands-on with hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical rebuilds Read and interpret hydraulic prints and technical schematics Maintain accurate service records and follow safety standardsWhat You Bring:
Several years of heavy equipment maintenance experience Strong hydraulic, diesel, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read hydraulic diagrams and technical manuals A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally during the day Ability to work in outdoor/industrial environments and meet physical demandsWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:
