Overview We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to support our shop, warehouse, and yard operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical work, operating equipment, and keeping operations organized and running smoothly. The right candidate will be comfortable working both inside the shop and outside in the yard, helping maintain equipment, managing inventory, and assisting with daily operational tasks. No two days are the same in this role. Responsibilities Mechanical and Shop Support Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, greasing, and filter replacements on shop equipment, hoists, forklifts, and company vehicles Assist mechanics with equipment repairs and mechanical troubleshooting Operate hand and power tools to assist in repairs and light fabrication Assist with basic welding tasks when needed Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Provide backup support for hoist oil changes and routine equipment maintenance Warehouse and Inventory Receive and inspect incoming materials and equipment Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment or job-site delivery Securely box equipment and materials for shipping Maintain inventory tracking for equipment, PPE, and materials Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks Perform parts pickups and material runs when needed Yard and Facility Operations Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and load and unload trucks Assist with loading and unloading trailers and delivery trucks Maintain a clean and organized yard and storage areas Perform grounds maintenance including mowing and weed eating Assist with basic building maintenance and facility upkeep Assist with weekly shop cleanup, including trash removal, sweeping, and vacuuming shop rugs Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, shop, mechanical, or equipment support roles preferred but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools Ability to lift 50-70 lbs regularly Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Basic computer skills for inventory tracking Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Forklift certification is a plus (training available) Tools Candidate should have basic hand tools for general mechanical work.
