Job Description

Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Forklift Service Technicians for a projects located in the Forest Grove, OR area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $29-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, heavy equipment, and related machinery Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel system issues Service gasoline, diesel, and LPG-powered equipment Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel systems, turbochargers, brakes, steering systems, clutches, wheel bearings, and other major components Inspect, test, and troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic tools Safely raise and support heavy equipment using hydraulic jacks, hoists, and shop equipment Perform basic fabrication and welding as needed Inspect and adjust safety devices, guards, and other critical components Identify additional repair opportunities and document warrantable repairs Complete accurate work orders, parts lists, and timecards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Keep assigned service truck clean, stocked, and professionally maintained Requirements 2-4 years of mechanic experience required All tools for the trade Previous forklift or heavy equipment repair experience preferred Experience working on mobile heavy machinery is highly desirable Knowledge of gas, diesel, and LPG fuel systems Basic welding and fabrication experience High school diploma or GED required Ability to operate field service trucks, cranes, and lifting equipment Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
