About Us Iron King Inc. is a premier regional provider specializing in top-quality used and rebuilt heavy equipment parts, including hydraulic cylinders, engines, and transmissions. We are excited to expand operations within our branch in Prineville, Oregon, and we value self-motivated individuals who want to grow a long-term career alongside us! Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to join our Prineville team. In this role, you will work in our shop environment focusing on the complete disassembly, diagnostic evaluation, component rebuilding, and precise reassembly of heavy machinery parts. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, welding and fabrication skills, and the ability to work with high-precision measuring tools to meet exact tolerances.
Pay & Schedule Pay Rate:
$30.00 - $50.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Steady Weekday Schedule (Monday - Friday, Day Shift)
Key Responsibilities Component Rebuilding:
Perform complete teardown, inspection, failure analysis, and rebuilding of critical components including track frames, hydraulic cylinders, differentials, final drives, brakes, engines, and transmissions.
Precision Measurement:
Use precision diagnostic and measuring tools—including micrometers, dial calipers, and dial indicators—to set precise tolerances across different applications.
Welding & Fabrication:
Use welding (MIG/Stick), grinding, and torch equipment to repair, modify, and restore heavy equipment parts to serviceability.
Shop Efficiency:
Manage order timelines, including order start dates and completed dates, to ensure rapid turnaround times for our customers.
Operational Flexibility:
Duties are not limited to the current responsibilities; you will assist the shop with various technical and operational tasks to support branch growth.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Mandatory prior experience working around and rebuilding heavy industrial or construction equipment components.
Precision Tooling:
Demonstrated proficiency using precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers) to set tight tolerances.
Fabrication Skills:
Strong technical proficiency in welding and grinding for heavy equipment repairs.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to accurately interpret mechanical specifications and maintain tight production timelines.
Self-Motivated:
