Aggregates About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and support vehicles Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient operations Conduct inspections and maintain accurate service records to support compliance and reliability Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and execute timely repairs Collaborate with plant operations to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy mobile equipment systems (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical) Strong commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting systems Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $31.34 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground differential $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Shaping the future, building successes Heidelberg Materials - your springboard into the future of the construction materials industry.
