H.R. Ewell, Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to help keep our trucks and trailers maintained at all facilities and transfer equipment where needed. • Drive a service truck to company locations, including Cocoa, FL; Chattanooga, TN; Creedmoor, NC; Salisbury, MD; Havre de Grace, MD; Westboro, MA; Morrisville, PA; Dayton, OH; Chicago, IL; and Decatur, IL.
• Service and maintain company trucks and trailers.
• Drive a company truck with a Movall trailer.
• Load company trucks and trailers and transfer equipment to other locations.
• Perform general diesel mechanic and equipment maintenance work.
• Travel to various company facilities as needed. Qualifications
• Dependable and self-motivated.
• 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• CDL-A with tanker endorsement
• Ability to pull a Movall flatbed trailer. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, climb, and work in awkward positions.
• Ability to climb on and around commercial trucks, tractors, and trailers.
• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to frequently use hand and power tools and perform repetitive gripping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work underneath vehicles and in engine compartments.
• Ability to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions and around noise, dirt, grease, diesel exhaust, and other mechanical-service environments.
• Ability to safely perform repairs at customer locations and roadside service locations.
