Job Description

Flat rate pay. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, and diagnostics. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy machinery. Diagnose issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, and forklifts safely and efficiently. Fabricate parts as needed for repairs using welding and assembly techniques. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition. Perform tire service, shocks & struts replacement, air brake adjustments, and hydraulic system repairs. Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailer systems, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with electrical systems and soldering techniques is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required by the job duties. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to mechanics are advantageous.
