Little, Inc., in business since 1946, currently seeking a full-time skilled and dedicated Road Service Technician to join our Little's of Zieglerville, PA location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-the-road diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on customer-owned and/or dealer-owned John Deere and other brand compact commercial equipment and turf equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work independently in diverse environments. The Road Service Technician will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. Must provide own tools and possess or be able to attain a current valid PA DOT medical card for non-CDL trucks . Compensation is based upon qualifications and experience. There is a 90-day probationary period for all new hires; benefits available after successful completion. Saturday half-day hours are mandatory during the busy season (mid-March through Mid-June), and rotational during the remainder of the year. Valid PA driver's license in good standing is required. We are a drugfree workplace with a drugfree workplace policy. Responsibilities Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, repairs on customer-owned and dealer-owned mechanical equipment. Diagnose issues with equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics. Operate company vehicles to transport tools and equipment as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete larger repair projects safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments. Must provide own tools and be able to obtain a PA DOT medical card for non-CDL trucks. Skills Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of CCE and turf equipment Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures 1+ years of relevant experience Diesel repair experience is a plus Forklift certification is a plus Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes Experience in small equipment repair and maintenance is highly desirable Mechanical aptitude with a problem-solving mindset High-level interpersonal and customer service engagement, as well as oral and written communication Robert E.
