Schedule :

Part time schedule . Three days per week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday , 7am-3pm. Days may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirements :

Driving experience not required; RDS specific equipment training on the job is available. Pre-employment physical Background review required before hire .

Pay Range:

up to $22 per hour.

RDS's solutions include vending, markets, office coffee and snacks. Job Summary We are hiring immediately for a part-time vending systems Mechanic position to work in our office location. Mechanics are a key member of the RDS Service team who enable the availability of our products to clients. Our mechanics bring reliable access to a wide variety of snacks, foods and beverages to our clients through new innovative machines and markets, helping to create exciting customer experiences. With RDS' investment in state-of-the-art technology, including "smart coolers", the shop mechanic will expand their skills on the job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Inspect machines and equipment to determine/locate causes of malfunctions, dismantle machines to gain access to problem areas (re-assemble upon completion of repair) Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repairs broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair to ensure it is in working order before returning to inventory or deployment. Review existing inventory and orders parts as necessary; ships and receives machines; maintains equipment inventory Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for equipment repair. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, organize parts, inventory and ensure shop and work areas are free of debris and hazards. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment. Inspect and test machines to ensure cleanliness inside and out Assist in set-up of new Micro Markets and state-of-the-art "Smart Coolers" in the RDS shop prior to delivery. Assist with RDS projects that the service department must complete to support business objectives (e.g., pricing updates, Planogram changes, filling machines with specialty products before installation). Assist the service technicians with obtaining vending parts that may be required to properly service all scheduled machines Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and other related equipment to help ensure safe and error-free operation. Perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to stringent safety protocols in the RDS shop and warehouse
