Equipment Mechanic

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, inspect, and repair a diverse fleet of heavy duty construction equipment. This role is critical to ensuring that all machinery, trucks, and tools operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime .

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repairs on equipment Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective solutions Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational and product standards before release for use Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies Collaborate with operations team to prioritize equipment needs

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic working with heavy equipment and/or fleet vehicles Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Previous experience/trainings with JLG, Genie, CAT and other name brands (preferred) Experience with diesel engines (preferred) Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions Starting rate will depend on training and experience

Pay:

$30.00 - $43.00 per hour
