Position Details Reports to:
Shop Foreman, Location Manager, Corporate Service Manager Supervises:
None What You'll Do Diagnose, service, and repair agricultural tractors and equipment . Perform maintenance, inspections, adjustments, and repairs using manufacturer specifications and technical manuals. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, powertrain, and air-conditioning systems. Use diagnostic tools, schematics, service manuals, and computer-based systems to identify and resolve equipment problems. Complete equipment setup and pre-delivery inspections when needed. Install and service Ag Management Solutions (AMS) technology and related equipment. Operate and maintain service vehicles, tools, and diagnostic equipment. Accurately document repairs, labor, parts, and materials used. Keep your work area, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Participate in Service EDUCATE and manufacturer training programs to continually develop your technical skills. Work alongside experienced technicians and service leadership to solve challenging equipment problems and keep customers up and running. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with a mechanic's mindset and a technician's curiosity —someone who wants to understand why a machine isn't working and takes pride in finding the right solution. You'll ideally have: Experience working on agricultural tractors, farm equipment, construction equipment, heavy equipment, or similar machinery . A fundamental understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrains, electrical systems, and air-conditioning . The ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems. The ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics, service manuals, and technical information . The ability to safely operate service vehicles, tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership and manufacturer diagnostic systems. A self-motivated, can-do attitude and willingness to continue learning. The ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds . A High School Diploma or equivalent experience . A valid driver's license .
