Job Description:
We are seeking a Motivated and Reliable Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality on-site repair and maintenance services for our equipment and vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, inspections and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and air systems. Perform welding and fabrication work as needed to repair or upfit truck components. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. Keep up to date with changing regulations and standards. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor. Ensure service calls are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, inventory, and tools. Keep accurate records of all service work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job completing paperwork daily. Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols. Provide preventive maintenance, DOT, and conduct system inspections as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. Proven experience as a Mobile Service Technician or in a similar field. Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Clean driving record and valid driver's license. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools as needed. (Lift over 50lbs) Be able to bend, kneel, and crouch for long periods of time. Work in confined spaces Work Environment Mostly Mobile with little shop atmosphere covering south LA/MS Work in various weather conditions and environments Ability to travel for periods of time throughout the United States if the need arises.
Experience:
DOT:
2 years (Preferred) Hydraulic, diesel, heavy equipment, and/or heavy truck mechanic: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
